Captain Rick was born and raised in South Florida where he started fishing the waters with his grandpa at the age of 6 years old on the Dania Beach pier and local canals, sea walls, and on drift boats catching both saltwater and freshwater fish even doing his first freshwater tournament at only ten years old!

Captain Rick loves kite fishing or trolling for pelagic species such as sailfish, mahi, tuna, kingfish, and wahoo as some of his favorites. Captain Rick has been fishing the sailfish and meat fish tournaments for years now and has first place finishes against some of the best fisherman and teams in the world.

Captain Rick is very knowledgeable with over 20 years of experience, super hands on and very passionate about making sure each and every trip is true memory maker. Hard working is understatement! He loves to see anglers of all ages catch fish and learn about their catch at the same time.
